“La pareja de oro”, por su título 14
Guadalajara, Jalisco, — Octubre 2022.- Consolidadas como la mejor pareja del mundo en el tenis femenil, las checas Katerina Siniakova y Barbora Krejcikova están en Zapopan y, sin dudarlo, saldrán como amplias favoritas para quedarse con el título y sumar uno más a su impresionante andar en el 2022.
Siniakova y Krejcikova estarán en el Guadalajara Open AKRON WTA, torneo que se realizará del 17 al 23 de octubre en el Complejo Panamericano de Tenis y donde cualquier otro resultado que no sea verlas levantar el título será sorpresivo.
Ambas tenistas de 26 años se conocen desde que eran adolescentes y cuando jugaban su etapa Jr, y su entendimiento es tanto que lo demuestran en la cancha. Cuando tenían 17 años ganaron tres títulos de Grand Slam Jr: Roland Garros, Wimbledon y el US Open.
Siniakova nació el 10 de mayo de 1996 y comenzó a jugar a los 5 años. En su trayectoria individual ha ganado tres títulos, incluido Portoroz este año, pero en dobles su palmarés es impresionante, pues tiene 19 títulos en sus vitrinas, incluidos 6 de Grand Slam y una medalla de oro en los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020, esos siete trofeos al lado de Krejcikova.
De sus 19 finales ganadas, 13 han sido al lado de su compatriota, con la que ganó las finales del Abierto de Australia, Wimbledon y el US Open este 2022; también se coronó en Melbourne y Berlín, pero con otras tenistas.
Krejcikova (18 de diciembre de 1995), también ha tenido éxitos tanto a nivel individual como de parejas. En solitario suma 4 títulos en los últimos dos años y destaca el que consiguió en Roland Garros en 2021, mientras que en dobles sobresalen las seis coronas de Grand Slam que tiene junto a su compatriota.
En dobles ha celebrado 14 coronaciones. La primera fue en 2015 con la belga An-Sophie Mestach, en Quebec, pero desde 2018 todos sus títulos han sido junto a Siniakova y en Zapopan se perfilan para sumar uno más y consolidarse como la mejor pareja del mundo.

Guadalajara, Jalisco, October 2022.- Consolidated as the best couple in women´s tennis, the Czechs Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova are in Zapopan and without a doubt, they are the heavy favorites to keep the title and add one more to their impressive run in 2022.
Siniakova and Krejcikova are going to be playing in the Guadalajara Open AKRON WTA, that will be played from October 17th until the 23rd in the Complejo Panamericano de Tenis where any result but the title for them will be considered a surprise.
Both tennis players are 26 years-old and they have known each other since teenagers when they played in juniors and their understanding can be seen on the court. When they were 17, they won three Grand Slam titles: Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.
Siniakova was born on May 10th of 1996, and she started playing when he was a five-year-old. In her singles career she has won three titles, including Portoroz this year, but in doubles her resume is very impressive with 19 titles, including six Grand Slams and a gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Seven of those trophies have been won playing alongside Krejcikova.
Out of their past 19 finals wins, 13 have been side by side with her countrywoman. Together they won the finals of the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the last US Open, but also in Melbourne and Berlin, with different partners.
Krejcikova (December 18th, 1995), has enjoyed success both on singles and in doubles. In singles, she has won four titles in the last couple of years, among them the Roland Garros in 2021, while in doubles she has won six Grand Slam titles with her fellow Czech.
In doubles she has come on top on 14 times. The first one in 2015 with Belgium An-Sophie Mestach, in Quebec, but since 2018 all of her titles have been paying with Siniakova and in Zapopan it´s highly likely that they will add one more to remain as the top couple in the world.
